A Creative Outlet for Young Designers

Crocker Middle School's Makerspace Program, led by the talented Mr. Hager, offers students a unique opportunity to dive into the world of design and entrepreneurship through the Crocker Design Shop. This elective class, The Crocker Design Shop, empowers students to design and produce stylish clothing products for the entire Crocker community. In addition, our goal is to promote Crocker Gear and Events. Mr. Hager teaches students how to create enticing Video Promotions and Campus Signage to both make our school look amazing and also have great content on the HTV News Show created by students.

In this innovative program, young designers will:

• Unleash their creativity: Students will have the freedom to conceptualize and design original clothing items, from trendy t-shirts to fashionable hoodies.

• Master the art of production: They will learn about the garment industry, including screen printing, embroidery, and digital design techniques.

• Collaborate with leaders: Partnering with the school's leadership program, students will have the chance to sell their designs through the Leadership Student Store, gaining valuable retail experience.

• Shine on the screen: They will work closely with the HTV News Show to market their products, honing their presentation and communication skills.

By participating in The Crocker Design Shop, students will not only develop their artistic talents but also cultivate essential skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and business acumen.
